Excellent place to eat If you’re staying in old town Bukhara you may need a short taxi ride here( or a longish walk) but definitely worth the journey. Delicious Lebanese style dips to start, and some fine steaks to follow. It is the sister restaurant of Fillet in Tashkent, which we also visited and which was also excellent. Exceptional Middle Eastern Dining Experience Probably the best Middle Eastern food I’ve had. The flavours are rich and authentic, and the quality of the dishes is exceptional. Every bite felt fresh and perfectly seasoned, showing real care in the cooking. The meats were tender and full of flavour, and the pitta bread was absolutely divine, soft and warm with the perfect texture. The starter dips complemented it beautifully. A must visit resturant Had the most amazing meal last night..the Asian chicken was delicious as was the burger and grilled vegetables..followed by the sizzling chocolate brownie..with some Uzbekistan wine and beer to wash it down..service was excellent ..friendy, helpful and prompt..lovely decor and ambience..a restaurant not to be missed and it's only a 160000 som yandex ride (10 mins) from the old town ..good vegetarian options available..

Gem Found! Zaytoon was an absolute treasure to discover in Bukhara! The ambiance is sleek and modern, offering a refreshing contrast to the city’s historic charm. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with exceptional hospitality, and the service remained outstanding throughout our visits. The menu blends modern Middle Eastern and Mediterranean flavors beautifully. Everything we tried was top-notch—from the perfectly balanced mojitos and warm, fresh-baked breads to crisp, flavorful salads and steaks cooked to absolute perfection. The desserts were equally impressive—rich, fresh, and indulgent. We especially loved the extra sauces for our steaks, which added a delightful burst of flavor. We enjoyed Zaytoon so much that during our five-day stay, we couldn’t resist going back a second time. If we had another day in Bukhara, we’d have gone again without hesitation.
